Director Education

Chad is a paramedic of 18 years, a registered nurse in the emergency department at Bon Secours Community Hospital, and an EMS educator. He’s been an instructor for 20 years, beginning with CPR instruction and culminating in becoming a NYS Certified Instructor Coordinator.  Chad is always looking to improve survivability from sudden cardiac arrest, and is passionate about teaching trauma-informed care and taking care of the mental well-being of providers. He is always looking to expand the classes offered to our providers and our community, and is keen on improving the quality of care given to our surrounding areas.

When not at work, Chad loves winter sports and roller derby and can often be found trackside serving as the medic for derby games. He lives in Port Jervis, NY with his wife and two standard poodles. Chad is truly blessed to work with the best providers in the world and for the New Paltz community that he loves.
